biography

Christine M. Schneider grew up in Colorado and graduated with a BFA in Illustration from the University of Kansas. Christy owns Yellow Pencil Studio, Inc., an illustration and design studio in Lawrence, Kansas. Some of her picture books for children include "Picky Mrs. Pickle," "Saxophone Sam and His Snazzy Jazz Band," "Under Construction," and "Look for Ladybugs." She lives in Lawrence with her husband and daughter.
